Scott’s background includes leading operational performance improvement and TPS/Lean transformation with numerous Fortune 500 companies including several years experience with Lean Healthcare delivery systems. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Scott began working with Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Georgetown, Kentucky. He was among one of the first groups hired to help set up manufacturing in the facility. He also spent time learning the Toyota Production System at the source, working alongside his sensei in Toyota’s Tsutsumi plant in Japan. After ten years with Toyota, Scott moved on to lead two organizations through their lean transformation. He then began a consulting career working with clients in all types of product and service industries developing strategies focused on business excellence measured by defect-free quality, on-time delivery, and functional value leading to top line growth and bottom line reduction in cost.
